Thor Prohaska - Teachers College

I started teacher's training at Kelvin Grove in Brisbane in 1976 but I didn't feel ready to be a teacher so I deferred my studies for a year during which time I travelled around a bit in Australia, lived in Adelaide for 5 months and met my first wife in Melbourne. I returned to my teacher training studies in mid 1977 at Kelvin Grove. During this time I started my study and practice of Yoga with the Kelvin Grove Yoga Society. However, I again felt that I wasn't ready to be a teacher so in mid 1978 I moved to Sydney and worked as a labourer. In 1978 I learnt to snow ski at Mt Buffalo and Falls Creek.
